PCC TO OUTLINE NEW POLICING COMMITMENT TO DUNSTABLE AT UPCOMING PUBLIC MEETING
Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner Kathryn Holloway and Deputy Chief Constable Mark Collins will outline new policing plans for Dunstable at a public meeting on 8 November, continuing the Commissioner’s boost of visible policing across the county.

The meeting, to be held at Dunstable Fire Station on Brewers Hill Road from 6pm, is open to residents who wish to hear about new policing plans for their town, details of which will be announced at the meeting.

“From day one, more visible policing across Bedfordshire has been one of my top priorities,” said Commissioner Holloway.

“In my Police and Crime Plan, I set out plans to boost neighbourhood policing in seven key areas, and Dunstable will be one of the towns to benefit from one of the new Community Hubs. This is the fifth public meeting I’ve held since taking office – others have been in Luton, Bedford, Biggleswade and Leighton Buzzard – and I look forward to meeting residents of Houghton Regis and Ampthill in the future.”

A public meeting will be held in Houghton Regis on December 13 – the venue will be confirmed in due course.
