Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner, John Tizard has published his Annual Report for 2024/25, setting out a clear and collaborative vision for policing and public safety across the county.
The report outlines key achievements, and the strategic direction for the year ahead.
In his foreword, Police and Crime Commissioner John Tizard reaffirms his commitment to a safer and fairer Bedfordshire, stating:
“Everyone is entitled to feel safe and to be safe. That can only be achieved through a partnership approach—across criminal justice, social justice and human rights. This report reflects our shared ambition to tackle the causes of crime and deliver real change for our communities.”
The report also responds to national policy developments and recent inspection findings, setting out how Bedfordshire Police will continue to improve performance, invest in innovation, and work with partners to deliver lasting impact.
