Service
We will utilise this grant to extend our existing free-to-access Kicks delivery, into three new communities, with an additional weekly session in each of the following areas, Stopsley, Luton, Houghton Regis, Central Bedfordshire and Queens Park, Bedford.
These sessions will be open access for all young people aged 11-18, reaching at least 100 you Sessions will be delivered on “hot spot” estates at times when anti-social activity has become prevalent amongst these communities, usually after school and in the early evening. We will work with young people participating, our partners, and local policing teams to address the needs of the young people and each community.
While our coaches deliver football activities, our youth worker will deliver activities that establish reachable moments to refocus young people’s behaviour and prevent or divert them from serious violence and criminality.
