The Bobby Scheme is a home security service commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) which is designed to help those most at risk feel safer in their homes. Run by a team of two Bobby Scheme Advisors, the scheme provides practical support to:
Our team are plain-clothed, carry ID, and offer a reassuring presence during home visits. They carry out security surveys and install simple but effective safety measures including door chains, locks, and viewers in accordance with the suitability of the property.
The Bobby Scheme is currently solely funded by the OPCC.
