Afghanistan and Central Asian (Youth Diversion, Mentoring and Community Resilience Programme)

Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) aim to deliver a 5-month long pilot programme in Bedford Borough, focused on youth diversion, mentoring and community resilience programme. They aim to target young people aged 11-25 who are at risk of anti-social behaviour, school exclusion, exploitation, gang involvement and poor mental health. The project aims to provide structured weekly sessions combining sports activities, creative arts and music production, alongside one-to-one and group mentoring. As well as violence prevention workshops that focus on exploitation awareness, healthy relationships, online safety, employability and leadership development.
