This project aims to bring together experienced Volunteer It Yourself mentors, qualified trades professionals and young people aged 14–24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET. Working collaboratively, they have the ambition of redecorating a Women’s Aid house in Luton. The aim is that the young people gain practical construction skills, improve work-readiness, and contribute to refurbishing community facilities that provide vital services.
