Head of Governance and Compliance - Katie Beaumont
Katie is the Deputy Monitoring Officer, supporting the Chief Executive in the delivery of his statutory responsibilities including all compliance and governance matters. Katie whilst supporting the delivery of the PCCs Police and Crime Plan, ensures effective governance, risk management, assurance (including independent scrutiny) and governance frameworks are in place.
Katie leads on the complaint’s functions within the office, with the delegated responsibility to complete all recordable complaint reviews. Assisting the Chief Executive in public scrutiny of the police by maintaining the accountability of the Chief Constable, critically reviewing strategic decisions to ensure effectiveness against the Police and Crime Plan.
Katie is also Director for the Independent Custody Visiting Association (ICVA).
