Summary:
7 Force Procurement have recently awarded the 7 Force Waste Management & Recycling contract to WCRS, as approved by SPGB on the 10th March 2021 and subsequently by all CFOs, within the Reg 84 Contract Award report.
WCRS are recommended to be awarded the 7 Force contract for Waste Management and Recycling Services. WCRS submitted the most economically advantageous tender, achieved the highest overall Technical/Commercial score and are able to meet the contract requirements as per the specification and terms and conditions of the Agreement. These include delivering significant Social Value, utilising Local SME sub-contractors & conducting site audits across the region, to support the delivery of continuous improvements and further cost savings.
The Head of Category Procurement for 7 Force Procurement has requested authorisation for the signing and sealing of the contract which commenced from 1st May 2021. The Chief Executive of Bedfordshire OPCC authorised and confirmed approval of her electronic signature to be used and added to the 7 Force Waste Management and Recycling Services Contract.
