Summary: On 13th May 2022 a bid for £729,932 was submitted to the Home Office Safer Streets 4 fund.
The bid will primarily target Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) in public places and feelings of safety from VAWG, but it is expected that this will also have an indirect impact on other areas such as ASB, serious violence, robbery, gangs and criminal exploitation.
It is anticipated that the outcome of the bid will be known mid June/July 2022.
