Summary:
On 25th July 2022 £294,000 was awarded by the Home Office Safer Streets 4 Fund to Luton Borough following a bid submitted via the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire.
This bid will focus primarily on Neighbourhood Crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) within the LSOA output areas of Luton 01E & Luton 021C, but it is expected that this will also have an indirect impact on gangs & criminal exploitation. This is due to the bidding areas sitting on the outskirts of Luton Town Centre.
