On 28/09/22, Philip Eaton, Project Manager for Safer Streets within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire, signed a grant variation notice which included amendments to the Safer Streets Fund Round 4 Grant Agreement, date effective from 27/09/22.
I. For the £7000, Bedfordshire PCC will be able to purchase another 3500 units, this will be in addition to the 10,000 that they have on order that are being personalised with the safer streets branding and QR code.
II. Amendment to deliverability table – OPCC to purchase an additional 3,500 personal safety alarms.
III. Amendment to sustainability table – Reallocation of funding to purchase an additional 3,500 safety alarms will further help identified groups feel safer about normal activities and their lifespan will continue beyond the end of the initiative.
