Summary:
Bedfordshire OPCC has appointed a Legally Qualified Chair for a misconduct hearing on 6th February 2023. The details have been passed to Professional Standards Department to formally log the appointment and to make contact to arrange the hearing. The Professional Standards Department for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) requested Bedfordshire OPCC to find a Legally Qualified Chair from our Cab Rank Rota in order to chair a Misconduct Hearing for a Bedfordshire officer. The hearing is being conducted under the new 2020 Regulations and Bedfordshire OPCC have been advised by the Professional Standards Department that they are looking to serve the Reg 30 papers as soon as possible.
