Following the outcome of the Mid-Bedfordshire by-election, Festus Akinbusoye will be remaining in his role as Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC).
Mr Akinbusoye had been selected as Conservative candidate for the seat which became vacant following the resignation of Conservative MP, Nadine Dorries.
Mr Akinbusoye will be remaining in his role as PCC, continuing to deliver his Police and Crime Plan priorities and commissioning services for victims of crime across the county.
