Summary:
A request for sealing was received from 7 Force Strategic Collaboration Procurement for the Provision of Forensic Analysis Services under The Next Generation Forensic Framework Agreement. Chief Executive Clare Kelly electronically signed the Framework Agreement on 6th July 2021.
Contract description:
Mini competition off the Home Office National Forensic Framework for the delivery of Forensic Science Services over an initial 5 year period (4 years with +12 month extension). This contract covers an extension period from the 14th January 2022 to 31st March 2023. A further 18-month extension period was requested and agreed in May 2020 to allow sufficient time for market stabilisation to continue and for the reprocurement of the service to be carried out. The market stabilisation work is still ongoing and a further extension is required to secure service provision whilst the reprocurement exercise goes on.
